The mission of the Iroquois Central Schools’ School Counseling Program is to recognize the uniqueness and personal worth of each student and to assist each student to acquire the academic, career, and personal/social competencies necessary to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers and lifelong learners. The developmental school counseling program focuses on each student’s potential growth within the context of his or her individual, family, multicultural, and human perspective, and the district’s policies and strategic plans.
