Quote Assignment
Guidelines
For Physics
For this assignment, you will need to send me three or more quotes.
One of your quotes will be displayed on the wall in my classroom.
The quotes may only be sent to my email account rrandall@iroquoiscsd.org.
The quotes should be inspirational or thought provoking.
To earn full credit (10 points), the quotes must be submitted by 3 pm, Monday, September 20th. Quotes sent after Monday will have 5 points deducted.
In the subject for your email, please type out the Name of your class. (Einstein or Newton)
Place the quotes in the order of your preference. Do not list the quotes by number. You may not get your first choice, as someone else will have submitted the same quote before you.
This assignment offers extra credit. I rarely offer a bonus…use this one.
15/10 A Physicist
12/10 A Scientist or Einstein
10/10 Everyone else
To receive the extra credit, I do not have to use the quote from the scientist/physicist for the wall.
Format
Start on the left margin…do not indent. Do not hit enter at the end of a sentence. Do not use quotation marks. After the quote is complete, skip a line by hitting enter twice. Then, you will type out the name of the person being quoted. After you have entered the name of the person being quoted, hit enter. Type your full name. Hit enter twice. Repeat the directions for the other two quotes.
If your quote has a minor deviation from the guidelines, two points will be deducted from your score. Two or more minor, or one major flaw will result in a five point deduction.
This is how you would send me the quote:
There are some things so serious you have to laugh at them.
