Description

Next-Generation Algebra 1 will cover 10 units along with several weeks of review to prepare for the final exam. All students will be taking the Next-Generation Algebra 1 Regents exam in June 2024. All students must earn at least a 65% or higher average in the class to earn course credit. All students must earn at least a 65% or higher to earn Regents credit on the final Regents exam. Final average: calculate the average of 4 quarters and the final exam.

Grading policy:

Tests 45% of quarter avg, Quizzes 30% of quarter avg, Class Activities/Assignments 25% of quarter avg

Students will follow all staff directions.

Students will work during all working times.

Students will be respectful to others.

Course Materials

Required Materials

Computer, stylus, highlighter, pen, pencil, ruler, graphing calculator (TI83,TI83plus, TI84, TI84plus), good attitude 😊

Additional Information and Resources

Copies of notes will be provided in one-note.

Students should refer to their notebooks and other sources provided to them.

Students will be provided with extra help during ISP scheduled classes.
